§ 29. Mr. BrandrethTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment he has made of the Cheshire constabulary's front-line policing policy; and if he will make a statement. [28426]
§ Mr. MacleanI was pleased to note that crime in Cheshire fell by 7 per cent. in 1994, while the detection rate rose by 4 percentage points. The objectives set in the Cheshire policing plan for 1995–96 should enable this welcome trend to be maintained.
