To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list for 1992–93, 1993–94 and 1994–95, the occasions on which her Department has sought committed to raising funds to establish teenage cancer units for the treatment of adolescents suffering from cancer.

For hospital in-patients in the national health service in 1993–94 in England, teenage cases—13 to 19-year-olds—were 1.7 per cent. of all finished consultant episodes with a main diagnosis of cancer.
