(2) how many health authorities in the United Kingdom provide specialist facilities for teenage cancer patients; [28013]

(3) how many health authorities in the United Kingdom provide specialist counselling for teenage cancer patients. [28012]

However, the document "A Policy Framework for Commissioning Cancer Services" recommends that health authorities should look for opportunities for developing the treatment of adolescents with cancer, who present special medical and psychological problems and require specialised care in the cancer centre.

We have also agreed section 64 funding for 1995–96 to support the work of the teenage Cancer Trust a charity
