To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) pursuant to her answer of 6 December,Official Report, columns 70–71, what are the capital assets of the regional health authority earmarked for current projects where contracts have already been signed.

(2) pursuant to her answer of 6 December, Official Report, columns 70–71, what is the value of the assets of regional health authorities earmarked for projects over each of the next five years (a) where contracts have already been signed and (b) where contracts have not been signed.

Proceeds from the sale of capital assets are not normally earmarked to offset the cost of individual capital developments, but enable the total capital spending for a region to increase.
