§ Mr. BowisThe Department makes a large number of grants to voluntary organisations. The main channel is the section 64 general scheme and for details of those grants for the last three financial years I refer the hon. Member to the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Hendon, South (Mr. Marshall) by my hon. Friend the Member for Loughborough (Mr. Dorrell) on 21 May 1991 at cols.435–39; the reply given to the hon.
