asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will encourage the Commonwealth Development Corporation to identify possible projects for investment in Senegal with a view to giving approval to the Commonwealth Development Corporation to operate there.

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

It is for the Commonwealth Development Corporation to decide whether to seek approval to extend its operations to new countries. I understand they currently have no plans to seek approval to operate in Senegal.
