To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many appointments to the public bodies listed in "Public Bodies" for her Department were made from names supplied by the public appointments unit; and if she will list them.

Since January 1991, the following 17 people have been appointed to public bodies listed in "Public Bodies" for the Employment Department from names supplied by the public appointments unit.

The 17 appointments are:
