§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) how much capital money her Department(a) has available and (b) has allocated for the provision of secure units for young people in England in 1992–93; and if she will provide a list of the establishments concerned and the sums allocated in each case;
(2) how much capital money her Department (a) made available and (b) spent on the provision of secure units for young people in England in 1992–93 and each of the previous 10 years.
§ Mr. YeoWe have made available £2 million in capital money for 1992–93 to fund new provision and upgrading170W and refurbishment of secure units for young people in England. A further £680,000 is available to meet the capital cost of providing additional secure places for juvenile remands.
