HC Deb 14 June 1993 vol 226 c435W
Mr. Mackinlay

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what restrictions are placed on political activity as a condition of residence for foreigners in the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement on the case of Prince Tomislav of Jugoslavia.

Mr. Charles Wardle

None. Foreign nationals are, of course, subject to the normal criminal law and may be liable to deportation if they engage in activities which render their presence not conducive to the public good. Prince Tomislav Karadjordjevich has been lawfully resident in the United Kingdom for many years.
