§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryWe understand that investigations are continuing into the circumstances that led to the tragic death of a demonstrator in San Salvador on 20 May. We and the other EC member states have repeatedly urged the Salvadorean Government to complete implementation of the peace agreements, including the full deployment of the new national civilian police, as soon as possible.
