§ Mr. ForthThe available information on teachers' non-contact time is derived from staffing surveys conducted in secondary schools in 1988 and 1992, and primary schools in 1987. The tables show the actual amount of teachers' non-contact time during pupil timetabled lesson time in the survey week. They are averages for all teachers in the sector, including head teachers.
