asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many awards of the higher rate mobility component have been made on the ground that the claimant was severely mentally impaired and displayed severe behavioural problems.

At 31st October 1992 the recorded number of people who had been made such awards since 3rd February 1992 on those grounds was 1,352.
