§ Mr. Eggar[holding answer 16 December 1993]: Guidance on the various ways of finding and selecting candidates for public appointments is given in the "Guide on Public Appointment Procedures" produced by the Public Appointments Unit. The use of executive search consultants is one option which may be appropriate for certain important appointments.
