To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement on his Department's funding in the Toxteth area of Liverpool.

[holding answer 14 December 1993]: In the financial years from 1990 to 1993 my Department paid a total of £2 million in regional selective assistance and £113,000 in regional enterprise grant in the Toxteth area.
