§ Mr. BrookeDuring the month of October 1993, my Department received 536 letters requiring a ministerial reply, including correspondence about policy matters relating to the work of my Department's executive agencies. Of those, 70 per cent. received a reply within 15 working days. My Department aims to acknowledge every letter from hon. Members within five working days.
