§ Mr. WelshTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many properties have been transferred from public sector landlords to landlords approved under section 57(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988;
(2) how many of the approvals in terms of section 57(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 which have been issued by Scottish Homes have been issued to housing associations registered with Scottish Homes;
(3) how many approvals in terms of section 57(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 have been issued by Scottish Homes.
§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 14 April 1993]: Thirteen approvals have been issued by Scottish Homes, including 11 to registered housing associations and co-operatives. Two thousand two hundred and twenty-five properties have been transferred from public sector landlords to approved landlords.
