§ Sir Hector MonroAll permits issued to fox hunts by the Forestry Commission clearly set out the terms and conditions on which they are granted. Copies are signed and retained by the commission and the master or secretary of each hunt. The fox hunts are therefore fully aware of the terms and conditions.

Copies of the permits issued by the Forestry Commission to the New Forest Buckhounds and the Surrey Union hunt for the 1992–93 season have been placed in the Library of the House. These incorporate maps which show the areas of land covered by the permits.
