Whether the Ministry of Defence's thinking about the United Kingdom's possible need for anti-ballistic missiles will involve discussions with the Russian and other ex-Soviet parties, with the 54WA United States and its Israeli partners in the Arrow and another ABM programmes, and with the United Kingdom's partners in WEU.
Viscount CranborneThe potential ballistic missile risk and possible ways of countering it are being reviewed in consultation with the US and other NATO allies, including fellow WEU members, taking into account all relevant factors. We have no plans currently to consult non-NATO allies.
