To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if the mid-1991 population figures from the 1991 census will be used in setting the standard spending assessments for 1993–94 for local authorities.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the total revenue expenditure, excluding revenue support grant to local authorities, by his Department in each of the English regions for the years 1990–91 and 1991–92.
