§ Mr. Robin Squire[holding answer 9 November 1992]: At the end of September 1992, the latest date at which information is available for England, there were about 2,500 outstanding appeals relating to the old rating system. These related to both domestic and non-domestic cases and separate figures are not available.
Most of the outstanding appeals were awaiting decisions by the Lands Tribunal.
