§ Mr. Redwood[holding answer 21 May 1992]: The London Docklands development corporation spent £4 million on acquisition and site clearance, £28 million on the eastern access road and Heron's Quay roundabout and £15 million on the expansion of the electricity supply., and received from Olympia and York £20 million for a long lease on the site. In addition, Olympia and York contributed £70 million to the docklands light railway which benefits the whole northern docklands area.
