§ Mr. Howard[holding answer 21 May 1992]: DNV Technica completed last year an evaluation of currently available technologies for abating nitrogen oxide emissions from large combustion plants. The initial contract was let by competitive tendering in December 1989 and completed in March 1991. A further contract with Technica, let in August 1991 by single tender action and completed in March 1992, provided United Kingdom input to the UNECE NO task force.
