To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis indicating how many(a) white people and (b) people from the ethnic minorities were arrested in London in each month of 1992; and, how many in each category were subject to an immigration check whilst in custody.
