§ Mr. DorrellWe expect that all national organisations with an interest in providing information to disabled people, their carers and service providers will wish to take some part in ensuring the success of this project. Applications for pilot projects involving federations of local information providers and invitations to tender for the role of project team to manage the overall project will he invited during the summer.
The Department is also planning a conference in the autumn which all interested organisations will be eligible to attend. Delegates will then have an opportunity to discuss their involvement in the project with the project team and those local federations of information providers which will have been selected as pilot projects.
