HC Deb 20 February 1991 vol 186 c177W
Mr. Flynn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make it his policy to discuss with his Belgian counterpart ways of developing international restrictions on conventional arms and ballistic missile system sales by arms dealers operating out of Brussels.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

We discuss the export of arms with Belgium and with our other partners in the Twelve. We expect to work more closely together in this field in the future. Both Britain and Belgium are also members of the missile technology control regime which aims to combat the proliferation of ballistic missile equipment and technology.
