§ 17. Mr. Ian Bruce
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the development of tourism in Northern Ireland.

§ Mr. Needham
The Government is confident that the strategy for tourism now being implemented should achieve sustained growth of tourism to and within Northern Ireland.

§ 23. Mr. Wilshire
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will consider supporting the creation of an all-Ireland tourist authority.

§ Mr. Needham
I am satisfied that co-operation between the two existing tourist boards represents the best way of promoting the holiday attractions of both parts of the island of Ireland.
