§ Mr. KeyThe Secretary of State has issued no statutory directions to the London Docklands development corporation. The LDDC keeps its policies and programmes under constant review, as reflected in its corporate plan, and holds regular discussions with Ministers during that process. The Secretary of State welcomes the LDDC board's decision to appoint Mr. Eric Sorensen as their new chief executive. Mr. Sorensen's role will be determined by the board.
