HC Deb 21 May 1990 vol 173 c64W
Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many hospices there are in each of the counties of Wales; and what is his policy regarding the expansion of the hospice provision in Wales.

Mr. Grist

There is one voluntary hospice in Wales providing in-patient care, in south Glamorgan. The provision of hospice facilities and other care for the terminally ill is a matter for the voluntary sector and health authorities but we are considering what assistance we can give to aid this work.
