§ Mr. Peter BottomleyI met the chairman on 2 March 1990 at the scene of the level crossing accident at Slaght, near Ballymena, Co. Antrim. We viewed the damage to the rolling stock and track and discussed steps necessary to set up an inquiry into the accident and the arrangements to visit the local hospital to see those who had been injured.
