§ Mr. Peter BottomleyIn the 12 months to 31 May 1990, the weight of toxic and other hazardous waste material authorised for passage through Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland en route to disposal facilities in Great Britain was 2,386 tonnes. Although the volume of each consignment is not necessarily recorded, its weight is specified in the prescribed documentation.
