To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the accountancy firms used by his Department.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 18 December 1989 at column50. The five firms used in 1989 were:

  • Coopers and Lybrand
  • Deloitte Haskins and Sells
  • Ernst and Young
  • Peat Marwick McLintock
  • Price Waterhouse
