§ Lord Kilmarnock asked Her Majesty's Government:
§ Whether, in view of their expectation of negotiating with the Zoological Society of London a new lease of an additional 10 acres in Regent's Park (Official Report, 3rd July 1989, col. 1055), they will include in the contract any conditions concerning land use; and where the proposed new boundaries will run.
§ Lord HeskethThe terms of the lease will restrict the use of the land to activities which further the objectives of the society as stated in its Royal Charter. The revised boundaries have not yet been settled.
