§ Mr. NichollsMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has no present plans to meet representatives of 603W Nottingham city council. However, we will continue to give priority to the sound economic policies that have encouraged growth and reduced unemployment in Nottingham and elsewhere. Employment training, the new programme for unemployed adults, was successfully launched on 5 September. It provides many worthwhile training opportunities for unemployed people in Nottingham to help them back into jobs.
