To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is the total amount of grant given to Clwyd health authority for services for the mentally handicapped since the inception of the all-Wales strategy.

Between 1 April 1983 and 31 March 1988, £389,592 has been given in grant aid to Clwyd health authority for the development of services under the all-Wales mental handicap strategy.
