HC Deb 28 July 1988 vol 138 c559W
26. Mr. Dykes

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has received any representations from the public concerning recent developments affecting the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Agreement.

Mr. Tom King

I have received occasional letters from the public about the Anglo-Irish Agreement.

37. Sir John Farr

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is his latest assessment of the effect that the Anglo-Irish Agreement has had on the level of violence in the Province, and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Tom King

I believe that, through the operation of the structures established following the agreement, co-operation on security across the border continues to develop, to the benefit of our common anti-terrorist effort.
