To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if his Department sent representatives to the Toronto conference on "The Changing Atmosphere: Implications For Global Security; and if he will make a statement.

As I stated in a written reply to the hon. Member for Devon, North (Mr. Speller) on 20 July, the United Kingdom delegation to the Toronto conference on the changing atmosphere was led by the chief scientist of the Department of the Environment and included a representative from my Department.
