§ Mr. GummerMinistry technical staff will give specialist advice on the conservation aspects of estate management matters generally, including the appearance of farm buildings in the landscape. Grants are also available to eligible farmers for the provision, replacement, improvement or alteration of buildings for agricultural use or as part of a planned diversification into other forms of rural enterprise. Where such works involve the use of vernacular materials, to improve the appearance of the building, any extra costs will be eligible for grant aid.
