To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the efficiency scrutiny review of the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service has been completed; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Donald Thompson
No such review is being undertaken but as explained in the reply of 26 May to the hon. Member for South Shields (Dr. Clark) at column261 a review of the first year's experience of the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service charging is currently being undertaken by senior officials.
