§ Mr. Butcher[holding answer 21 July 1988]: The latest figure for the number of staff presently employed in the press and public relations office of my Department is 41 (including 16 on clerical and other support duties). There are no separate staff employed on behalf of the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.
