(2) what information he has to how many local authorities in England which are responsible for domestic waste disposal services separate such domestic waste into (a) glass, (b) metal, (c) plastic and (d) papers for recycling purposes.
§ Mr. MoynihanThe Department does not collect information on the number of local authorities who separate their domestic waste into different categories. It is, however, known that a number of authorities operate810W mechanical separation plants and many others provide facilities for the public to separate their own waste for recycling.
