§ Mrs. CurrieI regret that the statistical information requested is not held centrally. Each private clinic performing plastic surgery must register with its local district health authority. Under the Registered Homes Act 1984, that authority must inspect it at least twice per year and must be satisfied that its premises and management arrangements meet the requirements of registration. The clinical service provided in such a clinic is a matter between each individual purchaser and the clinician involved.
