HC Deb 25 January 1988 vol 126 cc91-2W
Mr. Bowis

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what criteria he uses to assess the spending priorities between health districts within a given authority; and what criteria are used for the inner London authorities, such as Wandsworth and Roehampton, within the South West Thames region.

Mrs. Currie

It is the responsibility of regional health authorities to determine district resource allocations which take account of agreed service plans and allow for a manageable pace of change. My hon. Friend may like to approach the chairman of the South West Thames regional health authority for further details in respect of Wandsworth and Roehampton.
