§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe Health and Safety Executive's nuclear installations inspectorate has, as part of its normal licensing process, been reviewing and inspecting the design and construction of the CEGB's Heysham 2 nuclear plant. Following the consent of the inspectorate, fuel has been loaded into the reactors. Consent for power raising is expected when the remaining safety assessments have been cleared. There are no plans for ACSNI to look into what is essentially a routine licensing matter.
