Roads (Capital Allocations)

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the total capital allocation for highway work allotted to London boroughs and the Greater London council for each year between 1983 and 1987.

The total for each financial year is as follows:

1985–86	104.5
1986–87	104.0
1987–88	108.8

The figures up to and including 1986–87 include provision for parking. Expenditure requirements from 1986–87 onwards have been affected by the trunking of 72 miles of roads.
