HC Deb 24 February 1988 vol 128 cc214-5W
Mr. Gareth Wardell

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if every health authority in Wales has now appointed an immunisation co-ordinator; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Grist

The Welsh Office circular on childhood immunisation issued in 1985 asked all district health authorities in Wales to designate an individual to coordinate immunisation activity. All Welsh health authorities have advised that these designations have taken place. Responsibility in most cases rests with a specialist in community medicine.
