Friend frequently meets the chairman of the authority to discuss matters of mutual interest, including air space issues affecting the London area, for which the authority is reponsible. My right hon. Friend will be visiting the London air traffic control centre in the near future to see the current provision of air traffic services and to discuss the plans of the national air traffic services for the future.
