To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth. Affairs what assurances have been sought from the Turkish Government on the proposed uses of the 40 Shorts SS50 armoured personnel carriers which its Interior Ministry has contracted to buy for their gendarmerieé; and if he will make a statement.
