Mr. Cryer

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will instruct Her Majesty's ambassador to Sudan to inquire of the Sudanese Prime Minister if he will make available to Her Majesty's Government any information he possesses concerning the allegations of a black market in weapons grade nuclear materials in Khartoum made public initially on 30 October 1987.

Her Majesty's embassy in Khartoum is in touch with the appropriate Sudanese governmental authorities. There is still no evidence to confirm the allegation of a black market in weapons grade nuclear material in Sudan.
