Mr. Cummings

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the industrial installations with their locations in the county of Durham which are covered by the Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards Regulations.

Mr. Nicholls

One industrial installation in the county of Durham has been notified to the Health and Safety Executive under the Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards Regulations 1984. The installation is:

  • Norske Hydro Polymers Ltd.
  • Aycliffe Industrial Estate
  • Newton Aycliffe
  • Co. Durham
