Mr. Maginnis

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) for how many of the 178 terrorist killings in Fermanagh and South Tyrone between 9 February 1971 and 6 October 1986 anyone had been made amenable for murder by 27 October 1986; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if anyone has been made amenable since 27 October 1986 for each of the terrorist murders in Fermanagh and South Tyrone unsolved at that time; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) if anyone has been made amenable for the murder claimed to have been committed by the Irish e app Republican Army of Ivan Crawford in Fermanagh on 9 January;

(2) if anyone has been made amenable for the murder claimed to have been committed by the Irish Republican Army of George Shaw in South Tyrone on 26 January;

(3) if anyone has been made amenable for the murder claimed to have been committed by the Irish Republican Army of James Oldman in Fermanagh on 3 April;

(4) if anyone has been made amenable for the murder claimed to have been committed by the Irish Republican Army of Thomas Hewitt in Fermanagh on 19 July.

There have been no charges brought nor convictions secured in the United Kingdom in relation to any of these murders, but one person has been charged in the Republic of Ireland in relation to the murder of Lance Corporal Thomas Hewitt on 19 July 1987.
